We’re proud to announce that we just wrapped on a short film for Black Magic Design that will be featured at NAB 2016!

After successfully beta testing the Mini 4.6k on our short, “Bounty Hunter”, we have joined forces with Blackmagic Design on an original cinematic short film designed to further showcase the new 4.6k sensor in a variety of conditions. With NAB just around the corner we quickly drafted up an exciting narrative script and assembled our crew. In just 1 single day day of shooting we managed to shoot an action/adventure/romance pirate movie complete with sword fights, boats, and treasure maps! We can’t wait to share it with everyone!

We had the URSA Mini 4.6k up in the air flying on a drone, on the ground with the DJI Ronin gimbal, on our Moai Tetna Dolly, Tripods, and handheld rigs! We used it in a variety of lighting conditions…from harsh noon sun… to beautiful golden hour … to low light interior night set ups! We are amazed by the footage and will keep you updated throughout the postproduction process.
